Passito Bianco Veneto Igt
Our Passito Bianco has ancients origins and it has been mentioned in some old latin’s texts such as the most precious and rare among all Recioto wines which, furthermore, is usually red.
The sorting and harvesting by hand of the best white berried grapes is followed by a slow drying process in wooden boxes of circa 100 days. When it’s time to rest, our wine is store in barriques for almost 2 years, in order to obtain a good balance between alcohol, acidity and sugar.
Its white-gold colour reveals us a great aromatic complexity with notes of apricot jam, almonds and flowers. It is perfect for mature and tangy cheeses.
Despite what you may think, our Passito Bianco can have a relatively long life, arriving to 20 years of aging in cold (15° C), humid (75%) places, with no sunlight. We suggest you to open it at least 1 hour before serving it, at a temperature of 15° C.
